Salmon Fishing
When most people think of fishing in Oregon they think of Salmon Fishing. Oregon is famous for its Chinook and Coho runs and when the salmon are running we are fishing for them.
Sturgeon Fishing
Sturgeon are the biggest fish in our rivers. Growning over 10 feet and weighing hundreds of pounds Sturgeon are an amazing game fish and we fish for themregularly.
What We Fish For
Steelhead
Steelhead are a strain of Rainbow Trout that go out to the Pacific ocean to grow then return to the rivers to spawn. They are a handful when they are hooked and are a favorite of NW fishermen.
Bottom Fish
Ocean Bottom Fish is more of a category of fish than a species. Some of the most popular species it includes are Lingcod, Black Cod, Sea Bass and man others. These fish are plentiful in our waters.
Crab
Who doesn’t enjoy fresh Dungenous Crab? The Oregon coast is a great place to get Dungenous Crab and we generally will also set out crab pots while we are fishing the costal waters.
Chinook Salmon
Chinook Salmon, also known as King Salmon, are the largest species of salmon you will find in Oregon. The Spring run Chinook Salmon are a bit smaller than the Fall run Chinook Salmon.
Coho Salmon
Coho salmon, also known as Silver Salmon, are smaller than Chinook but pound for pound put up an incredicable fight on light gear. They are also delicious eating.
Sturgeon
Most of the Sturgeon we catch in Oregon are under 100 pounds but there are also places we fish that the Sturgeon grow 200 – 3– pounds or more. These fish are amazing to catch.

“What a great guide, fishing out on the Willamette River and a kayaker hooked salmon without a net. Guess which guide was a good citizen and went over and netted it for him? Of course Bill Monroe Jr!”
